máy N20 thế hệ mới này của BMW xài chung cho 320i và 328i , khác nhau cái cục điều khiển này để làm tăng công suất máy và moment xoắn. Thấy trên mạng cũng có review cái này xài cho 335i luôn. Chắc là không vấn đề gì, chỉ là Chip điều khiển can thiệp vào hệ thống điện tử của xe, nên chắc không sao. thỉnh thỏang nóng quá chết máy thì ngừng xe đợi nguội máy chạy tiếp thôi ! heee
It was only a matter of time until tuners started unlocking the potential of the BMW N20, inline four cylinder turbocharged engine. Kelleners Sport is the first tuner to release a tune module for the N20. Their performance chip, or tune, appears to be installed by the OBDII port is quick and easy to instal and supposedly completely reversible, perhaps before heading into the dealership.
The BMW N20 motor is BMW new generation of TwinPower turbo engines. The all aluminum engine is lighter and more efficient then the equivalently 6 cylinder engines it is quickly replacing in the BMW line up. The N20 is now the base engine for all the series ending in 28 and for good reason. With twin-scroll turbocharging with high-pressure direct-injection and BMW's VALVETRONIC intake control it turns out 240 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Offering more power and torque than BMW's normally aspirated 3.0-liter inline six.
Those are just the impressive stock numbers. Tune up your N20 with a Kelleners Sport module and you'll get 294 horsepower and 310 ft-lbs of torque! That takes the base model 328i in the soon to be released F30 2012 3 series sedan and puts the power number right on par with the 335i (300 hp, 300 ft-lbs). Keep in mind this is just the first chip, think of the power extraction a year down the road once tuners have more time with the N20! Expect tunes or chips from industry heavyweights Dinan, Active Autowerke and others coming soon. I expect these power and torque numbers are just the beginning!
