[U.S. Marines and] Iraqi soldiers from 2nd Battalion, Quick Reaction Force 1, 1st Iraqi Army Quick Reaction Force, cross the line of departure into the al-Huteen neighborhood of Basra April 24. 2nd Battalion, along with the rest of QRF 1 conducted clear and search operations in the northern Basra neighborhood, once a stronghold of criminal elements of the Jaysh al-Mahdi militia. In the latest stage of Operation Charge of the Knights, Iraqi Army units from Quick Reaction Force 1, 1st Iraqi Army Quick Reaction Force and the 14th Iraqi Army Division went house-to-house through the northern Basra neighborhood searching for illegal weapons, improvised explosive devices and other contraband.

Soldiers from 3rd Bn, Quick Reaction Force 1, 1st Iraqi Army QRF, move into position for the beginning of operations to clear the Al Jumhuriya District of weapons caches and criminals, April 28. The soldiers participated in several days of operations in the district that included distribution of humanitarian aid and demolition of a market area that was known for drug and illegal weapons trading.

Coi chừng mấy anh cầm AK-47 là lính của quân đội chính quy Irắc đấy. Một số lính Irắc cũng có quân phục, nón bảo hộ gần giống như quân Mỹ.
